Basic Sewing Classes/creating and sewing a skirt: Learning the basics of Sewing by Heather
by creating a skirt. Learn to design your own skirt from scratch by developing your pattern. I will instruct the basics
of creating your own skirt pattern, installing zippers, adding snaps, creating beltloops and lining the skirt.
Need drawings or pictures from magazine for first day of class
Beginning Sewing-101
1st Week-Introduction and Study of pattern making of your unique skirt
2nd Week-Learning to draft and cut your skirt pattern
3rd Week-Study of hems, zipper installations, and accessorizing
4th Week-learning how to line and finish your skirt
Practical Sewing-101Last Day of class
-Learn how to do Original Hem on Jeans
-How to fix a hole in pants
-How to take in dresses, pants etc.
Fee information:$150.00 per student not including machine nor supplies.
paypal or cash accepted.
Note:Student is responsible for providing their own fabric, lining and buckrum(interface), zippers and snaps.
